I was so excited that Lani wrote Blaine's book because I have loved her in all the other stories so it's so fun to see how her love story played out. My only complaint really is that some of the “Facts” don’t line up with what was told in other stories, but this does not take away from the overall amazingness of the story and how much I love Blaine and Elliott. This story shows also the rawness of what soldier’s and their loved ones have to go through and that it's not easy but worth it and when they work together to come on the other side it makes it so much more beautiful! I pray for every man and woman who has been affected by war and by being in the military and hope that each of them finds peace with themselves and with their loved ones. Lani Lynn just does an amazing job of writing each story and makes you feel like you are actually a part of the story.Looking for more books and reviews check out my blog whenireailive @blogspot.com

Such a sweet novella. Glad that we finally got some background on Elliot and Blaine. I personally had a question from the series, about them, answered in this novella, and I didn't even realize it was something I was wondering about. If that's confusing, and you've read the rest of this series, then read this one and maybe you can figure it out. If not, it will always stay my secret little question. LOL. Thank you for a little closure or peek into the future, Ms. Vale!
5 STARS for Elliot and Blaine the last book of the Freebirds. What a great series by an author who cannot write anything that isn't amazing. Every series she writes is better than the previous one. I'm now looking for the next one. Thank you Lani for a beautiful mind!
I have enjoyed your Freebird series very much! Storylines keep the reader's interest. Sexy situations that are great and not dirty. The emotions and family moments make me wish for a group of friends like this which I have wanted all of my life. You are very talented and don't repeat sentences and add lots of words that just lengthen the story but don't add to it. Thank you and best wishes!
I Don't Dance is a novella and the sixth book in the Freebirds series. Blaine and Elliott are a couple that we see throughout each book in the Freebirds series so I was quite pleased to see that they got their own little story. This novella is a quick read but it is terrific and made me fall in love with Blaine and Elliott even more. I am sad that the Freebird series has to end because I loved each and every book so much. Make sure that you read each book in the Freebirds series if you are able to purchase them all because each one is a fantastic story and terrific couple. This novella was a joy to read and a great ending to one of my favorites series of all time.

This is Blaine and Elliot’s story, which is also kind of like a prequel to this series. But I would recommend reading this book last. We first met the couple in Freebirds’ book 1, Boomtown. They have made excellent supporting characters and beloved within their tight knit group.
We actually get to see Blaine & Elliot meet and it is quite the funny story. Blaine is absolutely perfect for Elliot since her father was also an ex-Army Ranger. We get to see how they get together and their lives (mainly) at Christmas time from the beginning of their relationship, throughout their relationship and finally ending when their son, is in his early 20s.
Seeing the progression of their relationship and knowing all the other teammates’ stories, this was just the icing on the cake. You’ll have the chance to fall in love with Blaine, first and foremost and then Elliot. There are more of the hilarious underwear themes and the comedy that was infused throughout this series.
This is a great short read about Blaine and Elliott. I was curious about how they met and got together. I loved them in each and every book in this series. I know all about what Blaine was feeling when Christmas was missed, or time away was extended. Been there, done that, still doing it. And they don't give ya a tshirt for it either. She's a strong female lead though. Elliott is awesome as well, but let's be honest, what man of Lani's isn't awesome.
Of course the beginning of each chapter made me giggle.
"I asked my friend why she wore floral panties, and she explained it was in memory of all the men who'd been buried there."
"If I'm still able to walk to the kitchen after sex...You don't deserve a sandwich."
Blaine and Elliot have been characters that you were just given glimpses of in the previous books. And they are ones that I have wanted to hear their story. A story that I am glad to say was worth the wait. You can tell that they were soulmates from the start and fit together perfectly. Their life was never perfect, but they did what they needed to do to show that the other is the only one in the world for them. They went through things that made my heart hurt for them, and then there are moments that you know have to go right for them. And getting the hear the story of their son's birth again was something that I enjoyed just as much as I did the first time. This couple is one of those that any reader can tell is the true meaning of a HEA.
